"My life changed a great deal after having my first child. I went from working full time and having a full social life, to staying at home 24-7 with my daughter, and only having my husband to communicate with in the evenings when he got home from work. After a couple months I knew I had to get involved with some kind of group that would allow me to socialize and be around some other adults while taking care of my daughter during the day. The MOMS Club® of San Jose was exactly what I was looking for! I was able to meet new people, find new places that both my daughter and I enjoyed, and form lasting friendships. Now with my third child on the way, the MOMS Club has become a part of our lives. "Being a stay at home mom is the toughest job I've ever done. After working for nearly a decade, I thought it would be nice to be able to stay at home with my daughter, but quickly discovered that I was extremely overworked and incredibly lonely. I was desperate for some adult conversation. I had just moved to Patterson, CA and had no friends and my husband was at work all day long so I was stuck at home with my 11 month old when I learned about MOMS Club® through the Patterson city website. I called and joined up immediately! I jumped in with both feet and soon had new friends that are still in touch with me today. When I moved to San Jose, I just KNEW I'd find the local MOMS Club chapter...and so here I am...with lots of new friends and soooo thankful that MOMS Club® was there to support harried lonely moms like me!"

"I originally joined so I could connect with other stay at home mommies, as I wanted to get to know other women in the Bay Area in a similar situation. Namely, leaving the professional world and having to switch gears and stay home to tend to children. I stay in it currently so my children can have other children their age to play with, as I do not have them in daycare as of yet. It works out very nicely."
